Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP) is often cited as the pinnacle of acoustic mastery because of its ingeniously engineered Concert Hall. But, DFP is also established for its audio support facilities.
It is equipped with a comprehensive range of audio equipment, which includes a digital mixing console, a variety of microphones and accessories. Moreover, a performance video monitoring system is distributed throughout the concert hall to allow performers and technical staff to monitor stage activities.
The concert hall is complemented by a professional audio and recording facility designed and built for Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS by Abbey Road Studios. With a digital mixing console and state-of-the-art recording, editing and monitoring equipment, performances in the concert hall can be recorded at the commercial quality.
There is also a broadcast room. Incoming broadcasters can be easily set up in the concert hall through a broadcast vehicle connection point that interconnects with outside broadcast or multi-track recording vehicles.
