Inspired by the true story of Kǒng Zhū Ràng Jué, this musical follows the journey of Kong Zhu, the 53rd generation descendant of Confucius. Amid courtly intrigue, loyalty, and sacrifice, he renounces his noble title to uphold Confucian values in Jiangnan. Nan Kong is a stirring tale of heritage, identity, and moral courage —brought to life through powerful music, ritual, and emotion.
